Comments:
1: Interested buyers will probably find this vehicle's condition meets or exceeds their expectations:
a) Electric winch cable, hyrdaulic jack and toolkit are *present*. (Winch controller cable is usually stolen in transport of these vehicles at container terminal due to easy resale at $500.00 value).
2: Flaws/Damage report:
a) There are paint scratches on plastic overfenders as identified on website. See gallery pictures at end of gallery for more details.
b) Fuel drip from botttom of injector pump from faulty O ring. Removal of injector pump involves removing Timing belt. Therefore a new timing belt and water pump have been ordered and are included in the purchase price if vehicle purchased prior to repair of fuel leak.
c) Rear gate hydraulic lifter arms are weak and collapse under load by 20% of full capacity in cold weather below -5 C.
d) Fog lights disconnected and replaced by auxilary eCode lights for compliance conversion. Purchaser will have to install after market fog lights if this feature desired.

Description

Lucrative spec's and price-point for a HDJ81 chassis which are generally selling in the $24,000.00 price range right now and very hard to find. Price is discounted by $1,000.00 to reflect adjustment for scratches on bumper and over fenders (see pictures). Vehicle arrived in Canmore on Dec 13th and is scheduled for inspection Jan 3. We are waiting for eCode headlights and other conversion parts and filters to arrive. We have road tested the vehicle and it it runs just like you'd hope a vehicle with only 95K would run. Started instantly at -10 degrees. This vehicle uses a 24V system and has 2 batteries, which is one reason the diesel engine starts so well. It did not exhibit any more scratches upon arrival than those that were documented before shipping as noted in the pictures.
