Purchasing In Transit Vehicle

An "In-Transit" vehicle, is one that has been bought and paid for already and is being prepared for shipment, or is enroute, to Canada via container and is insured. As such the vehicle has not gone through conversion to meet Canadian compliance so essentially you are buying at this point mechandise that is suitable as parts or off-road use. Canadian taxes (GST/Duty), safety certification, registration fees, freight to Alberta ($500.00), plates and insurance are not included in the price and are buyers responsibility. The purchase price is FOB Vancouver, and includes brokerage fees, container unstuffing fees, etc. If an intransit vehicle is not sold at this stage to a pre-buyer who has placed a refundable $1,000.00 deposit, it transitions to "in-stock" status after it has been shipped to Alberta and brought into compliance. Generally the price can be expected to rise about $2,500.00 at this stage. See "in-stock" for more details.

Out of Province Buyers:
Puchasers from out of ALberta may want to purchase the vehicle "in-situ" off our lot in Alberta where PST does not apply at time of sale, but will still pay the PST when registering in their own province. Also note compliance regulations vary from Province to province so a vehicle that may be complaint in Alberta may not qualify in other provicnes without further compliance modifications.
